Moving to Coyote Creek was absolutely not what I had in mind when I graduated vet school—but when I heard the local vet was retiring, I jumped at the chance to take over his practice. Hey, maybe I can actually afford rent out here in the boonies.

Nursing an injured coyote also wasn’t high on my priority list, but here I am, chasing after a wild animal one of the farmers shot. Now, if only I could figure out why this coyote reminds me so much of Cam Carlyle … and why I’ve never seen the two of them in the same room together …

Getting shot by one of the local farmers is a bonehead thing to do for a coyote shifter—even one like me, who isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed (hey, I can admit it).

It’s not all bad, though—the cute new vet is overly invested in making sure my four-legged form doesn’t bite the dust, so I’m not complaining.

Something’s bothering me, though, and that’s why my nose keeps telling me Wyatt smells like an omega. He’s human, right? Or am I not the only one keeping secrets in Coyote Creek?

The sleepy town of Coyote Creek has a big secret: while it might look like any backwater town in the middle of nowhere, USA, it’s home to a secret society of shifters.
